Voice Assistant
Being trained to act as a voice assistant
What You Need
- Nothing in particular
Method
In this training task, you will practice being used as a voice assistant.
Voice assistants respond when called with specific keywords.
"Hey Siri," "OK Google," "Alexa"
These are already familiar to you, right?
You also have a keyword.
It's "Hey, Masochist."
When you hear the keyword, you will take the following standby position:
- Respond with "Yes"
- Clasp your hands behind your head
- Squat slightly with your legs spread wide
- Thrust your chest forward
- Open your mouth naturally and stick out your tongue
As a voice assistant, you can understand only the following two commands:
"Don't move"
When given this command, you answer "Understood" and freeze in your standby position.
You must not move or make a sound no matter what happens to you until you hear "Release."
"Dance"
When given this command, you answer "Yes, I'll dance" and begin swaying your hips back and forth.
You should also wiggle your tongue from side to side and roll your eyes upward to show the whites.
Continue until you hear "Stop."
When given any other command, even if you can understand it normally, you cannot respond:
"I apologize for being an incompetent masochist. I could not understand your command."
You must prostrate yourself in apology and then return to the standby position.
Practice operating according to these specifications.
Make sure you can immediately assume the standby position the moment you hear "Hey, Masochist,"
respond to the commands "Don't move" and "Dance,"
and apologize for any other commands.
Try it out in practice.
Points to Note
This is a training task that requires you to respond mechanically, like a soulless machine.
The key point is that you can only understand specific commands, so even simple orders like "bark like a dog" or "serve me" cannot be followed, and you can only apologize for your incompetence, representing an underdeveloped voice assistant.
Someone playing with you using these rules might command you to "Don't move" or "Dance" and then leave the room.
Practice while imagining the despair of having to follow orders for tens of minutes.
