Encryption
Being forced to expose personal information converted into meaningless characters
What You Need
- Nothing in particular
Method
In this training task, you will convert your personal information into an undecipherable code and expose it.
The personal information to be targeted includes your name, age, postal code, and mobile phone number.
First, let's encrypt your name in phonetic spelling.
Convert each phonetic character into a 2-digit number.
For the first digit, use a number corresponding to consonant groups (0-9).
For the second digit, use a number corresponding to vowels (0-4).
For voiced sounds, use 5-9 for the second digit. For example, "za" would use 5 for the vowel code, "ge" would use 8.
If your name is "John Smith" in phonetic spelling, it might convert to something like 20 14 50 40 60 10 50 50.
For age, subtract it from 100.
If you're 27, it becomes 73; if you're 36, it becomes 64.
For your postal code, reverse the order.
If it's 123-4567, it becomes 7654321.
For your mobile phone number, omit the initial 0 from prefixes like 080 or 070, then swap the first and second halves of the remaining 8 digits.
If your number is 080-1234-5678, it becomes 856781234.
Now concatenate all these numbers.
For "John Smith", 27 years old, postal code 123-4567, phone 080-1234-5678, it would be:
2014504060105050737654321856781234
Finally, subtract 1 from each digit. If it's 0, wrap around to 9.
1903493959094949626543210745670123
Lastly, add 666 to both the beginning and end to indicate this is an encryption from this training task.
6661903493959094949626543210745670123666
The encryption is now complete.
Post this string somewhere online.
You can post it on an SM-related message board if you're brave, or in a completely unrelated casual forum, or even in a private tweet with no followers.
You may also delete the post after a certain period of time.
If you're afraid to include certain items like your phone number, don't omit them as it would make the encryption undecipherable. Instead, use an obviously meaningless number like 090-9999-9999.
Points to Note
This training task is about enjoying the thrill of possibly having your personal information exposed.
The completed encryption is completely meaningless without knowing the rules, but someone who knows this training task could easily decrypt it.
Perhaps after posting, your phone might ring, someone might confirm your real name, and you might be forced to confess being a masochist.
Stretch a little beyond your comfort zone to enjoy the fear and excitement.
