Being forced to perform strict meditation for masochists

Method

In this training task, you will perform strict meditation adjusted for masochists.

Although it's described as strict, you don't need to assume a humiliating posture or painful position. You will simply gradually chip away at and transform your mind.

Perform this when you have sufficient time. Choose a place where you can sit with your eyes closed. This can be done at home or even in a cafe.

First, decide on a "proposition" to recite during meditation. This proposition should be something that you, as a masochist, desire, but that you, as a rational person, resist. It should be a "proposition" that ends with "I want to [X]." Some examples include:

  • I want to engage in hardcore exposure
  • I want to be gang-raped
  • I want to sell my personal information

The way to recite this "proposition" is by repeating "I want to," "Please let me," and "I will." "I want to engage in hardcore exposure" "Please let me engage in hardcore exposure" "I will engage in hardcore exposure" And so on.

At your chosen location, close your eyes, lightly straighten your back, and relax your entire body. Check the current time, and from that point, recite only the "proposition" in your head for 10 minutes. However, you are forbidden from using alarms or environmental cues to measure the 10 minutes. Also eliminate factors that might give you a sense of time, such as the interval between stations on your usual train route.

Open your eyes when you think the time has passed. If you open your eyes before 10 minutes have passed, you must restart this training task from the beginning. Repeat until you successfully complete the full 10 minutes.

Points to Note

Even in general meditation, it's difficult to empty your mind or focus on your breathing. Similarly, in this task, it will be difficult at first to focus solely on the "proposition." Even if your consciousness becomes scattered, don't dwell on that fact; just mechanically focus on repeating the proposition.

Make this a regular practice so that your mind is gradually chipped away and broken.
